| The top
ten things the Jazz did right this off-season |

10.
Signing 2nd round draft pick CJ Miles (34th)
to guaranteed contract. With scouts making
comparisons to Ray Allen, he is potentially
too good to risk offending. The Jazz needed
to show CJ the love, and they did with guaranteed
money. He might spend some time in the NBDL
this season, but when he is given the chance
to play he is going to make an impact on the
game, and have many of us scratching our heads
wondering, "What is this kid doing in the
NBDL?" [full

| Coach
|
by Ron Richards
|
|
The longest
tenured coach in the NBA happens to call Utah
his home. He may live in Illinois for a couple
months in the summer, but Salt Lake is where
he practices his livelihood, lives his dreams,
and year after year achieves pinnacles in
coaching that only a handful of coaches have

| Let’s Talk |
by
Johnathan Kendrick
|
|
Sometimes it’s
just hard to talk about a Revue game. Jazz
fans want to forget about last season. So
what is the point of talking about the Jazz
and Sonics game when everything about it reminds
you of the previous season.

| Make no
mistake about it
|
by
Johnathan Kendrick
|

That’s right,
make no mistake about it. Deron Williams is
here to lead the Utah Jazz. Considering the

Jazz use Pacer loss
as a measuring tool
As measuring sticks go, this was a pretty good
one.
The Jazz fell in their second game of the
preseason, dropping a 99-92 decision to Indiana on
Thursday night at Conseco Fieldhouse. |
Jazz: Rookie takes
charge
The Jazz got a close-up look Thursday at a point
guard they pursued but didn't get, and learned
there is reason to be disappointed. |
Sloan expecting more from Andre
He got going a bit in the third quarter, including
a steal, a block and a follow dunk in one short
burst. |
Jazz practice relentlessly
The Jazz
practiced Wednesday morning in Toronto, played an
overtime game that night, then flew to Indiana
after midnight. |
