rumored for a while, and now we can report
the rumors may be true. John Deere could
possibly name a tractor after Jazz coach
Jerry Sloan. Model 5525 has been tabbed as
the possible recipient of the
signature "Jerry Sloan special". John Deere
did not return our call which might of been
to a wrong number. –

Our outside
sources are reporting that Utah Jazz center
Mehmet Okur will be kept in isolation in the
basement of the Jazz arena until the season
ends. Okur has experienced several bouts of
flu this season, and stipulations in his
contract allow the Jazz to remove players
from the general public for the good of the
team. –

It's been
learned by Jazzhoops that John Hollingers
"per" numbers were possibly used by NBA refs
to place bets in Las Vegas. Hollingers "per"
statistics were alleged to have been
modified by horse racing fans to give them
an edge over other gamblers. Since the
majority of the refs using them lost
money,
the investigation was dropped. .
