DOC’s 2001 NBA Mock Draft Volume 1
by
D0CIt’s still early. The draft may be only a month away, but that is a
month filled with camps and individual workouts. Some players will see
their stock rise quickly, some will fall even faster. There are bound to
be rumors about work ethic, tales of great shooting, and oh yes, the
occasional GM trying purposely to lead everyone off his trail...

Could the
Jazz be getting Horny again?
by

At
the end of the 2000 playoffs, Jeff Hornacek walked off the NBA stage for
the last time in his brilliant career. Hornacek along with John Stockton
and Karl Malone were known as the big three for the Utah Jazz. Twice the
trio led the team to the threshold of an NBA title. However after years

up as a big event. The timing is perfect, it comes at a time when you
have to check the listings to be able to distinguish Sportscenter from
Baseball tonight. Most of us have already given the WNBA “a chance”,
and are again looking for signs that our boys will be on the court soon.
Networks devote hours to the draft, every team has a party, sports radio
has been filled for weeks with predictions, and if that is not enough to
convince you how big this event is, remember it is the only day of the
year Rick Majerus wears a coat and tie.
