the Jazz to their first victory of the young season and teaching rookie

If Karl Malone is preparing to demand a trade,
Karl Malone isn't saying.
Prior to the Los Angeles Lakers' 100-96 victory over the Jazz on
Sunday night at the Staples Center, Malone downplayed a New York
Post report that he is so unhappy with the current makeup of the
Jazz's roster he will ask management to trade him to a contender --
unless something is done quickly.
